Milk thistle seed extract Silybum marianum protects against liver damage by preventing toxins from binding to the surface of liver cells.

Phospholipids, are rich in fatty acids and constitute the building blocks of membranes of liver, brain and heart cells. The most important phospholipid is phosphatidyl-choline, which constitutes about 40% of all phospholipids forming the membrane of liver cells.

Silymarin, S-adenosylmethionine, Methionine has detoxifying, lipotropic, anti-inflammatory, anti-allergic, choleretic and anticholestatic effects. Protects the parenchyma of the liver and kidneys. Increases the synthesis of creatine in the muscles, improves the overall condition of the body. Removes harmful peroxides and heavy metals from the body. It has an antihistamine effect, accelerating the catabolism and excretion of histamine. S-adenosylmethionine is suitable for almost all liver diseases and especially for poisoning and cholestasis. Reduces toxic levels of metabolites associated with oxidative stress and steroid intake. .The effect of S-adenosylmethionine has been demonstrated in paracetamol poisoning in cats (9 cases).
